Keith Henry King, who is the Founder and Head of 'Langley Institute of Ministry', became a Christian when he was 20 after a three-year dialogue with another committed Christian.
After spending 6 years in full-time theological study ~ The Bible Training Institute/Glasgow University (1972-75) & Spurgeon's Theological College, London (1975 - 78) earning diplomas and a degree in theology. He then helped to lead churches in the south of England for over 38 years. In 2015 he took the opportunity to 'retire' from paid pastoral ministry and focus more on equipping Global Church leaders to be missional ambassadors for Christ.
He is passionate about communicating the truth contained in the holy bible in a way that is engaging and relevant as well as inspiring others to do so. For the past five years he has been training leaders in Africa, India, Pakistan & Nepal for ministry within the church and the world and has developed the 'Langley Institute of Ministry' to facilitate this.
His own pastoral ministry, spanning almost five decades, has enabled him to teach and minister in many countries of the world, including: America, Austria, Bosnia, Cambodia, Canada, China, France, Hungary, India, N Ireland, Kenya, Nepal, Pakistan, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, Tanzania, Uganda and the United Kingdom.
He believes the word of God is powerful and able to transform not only individuals but whole communities when it is understood and taken seriously.
One of the greatest gifts he has is his lovely wife Lynne Mary whom he married in 1973. They have two married daughters and three beautiful grandchildren. He relaxes by tweaking websites, playing his guitar, kayaking and being a Granddad to three precious children ~ although not all at the same time!
